More musings on the Mystery of the Crystal Skulls
After watching the recent Sci-Fi channel program “The mysteries of the Crystal Skulls” two times, I have formed some more opinions on just what they mean to humankind. I find the number of skulls in the legends and stories to be very significant. !3 skulls, 12 Tribes of Israel plus a lost tribe, Mayan legends that there were 13 inhabited planets and even in Battlestar Galactica there were 13 inhabited planets. When we look at the native American traditions we find the same thing even having the story of the 13 crystal skulls.
This is more than coincidence, when many different stories and legends coincide there is usually a lot of truth in the stories.
That being said it looks to me that the skulls are some type of media storage device. Refraction experiments seem to indicate that light beams directed to points on the skull lead to the eye sockets suggesting perhaps a projector of sorts. Just because we haven’t figured out how to read the data contained in the skulls doesn’t mean the data is not present.
There may be people on another planet trying to figure out what the significance is of The Golden Record we included in the Voyager Spacecraft. The message is carried by a phonograph record - -a 12-inch gold-plated copper disk containing sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth. The contents of the record were selected for NASA by a committee chaired by Carl Sagan of Cornell University. Dr. Sagan and his associates assembled 115 images and a variety of natural sounds. To this they added musical selections from different cultures and eras, and spoken greetings from Earth-people in fifty-five languages.
That was a great idea but without the accompanying mechanism to play it, that becomes as mysterious as the crystal skulls. The legends indicate that if all 13 skulls are found and brought together they will release all the knowledge of the universe. This knowledge is said to allow us to survive the cataclysm of 2012. Since it appears the Mayan civilization was entrusted to keep the crystal skulls, which according to their stories were given to them by people from the sky, and since they also set the day of December 21 2012 as the end of this portion of humanity everything falls into place and makes sense to me.
I do wonder if our civilization had spent more energy and time in pure science rather than developing better methods of destroying each other if we perhaps would have been led to discover the crystal skulls before time runs out?
The main reason that aliens give for not contacting us is that we are still too primitive and warlike, still engaging in tribal warfare rather than cooperation with one another as a single race - the human race. Unless the alien beings show great mercy we may have no solution when the cataclysm occurs. The only ray of shining hope is that the few who survive to build the next era of humankind may learn cooperation.
And as we draw closer to 2012 why is everyone in political power ignoring it? Al Gore is busy with his global warming fairy tale while everyone ignores the 800 pound gorilla waiting for the great cataclysm?
None of the presidential candidates has ever made any mention of this upcoming disaster, the only one that I am sure knew about it was Mitt Romney as his religion blends the Judeo-Christian and Mayan Beliefs together.
Stockpile food and water, move away from the coast lines and fault lines and big rivers and get ready for what will be a bumpy ride.
